California Valley Quail Hatching Eggs
Coming Soon!
California Valley Quail (also known as California Quail) are one of the most recognizable and visually striking quail species in North America. Known for their forward-curving topknot plume, social nature, and classic “Chi-ca-go” call, these birds are a favorite for aviaries, conservation projects, and game bird enthusiasts.
Valley Quail are native to the western United States and thrive in naturalistic environments where they can exhibit their normal covey behavior. They are most commonly raised for aviary display, conservation efforts, and educational purposes rather than high egg or meat production.
Hens lay small cream-colored eggs seasonally, typically in spring and early summer. Egg production is modest, as these birds are primarily valued for their appearance and natural behavior.
